Continuing Education
In an effort to ensure that our volunteers have all the tools needed to be effective advocates, Texas CASA along with the whole CASA network requires each advocate to obtain 12 hours of continuing education annually. Failure to complete these hours may result in the advocates dismissal from the program. Staff is invested in providing accessible continuing education to all of our advocates with our bi-weekly volunteer meetings, email notifications for training opportunities in our community, and 24 hour access to our Volunteer Resource page.
