Child Abuse Awareness Events a Success
In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month in April, CASA was busy spreading awareness by hosting a slew of events in the counties that we serve. This year proved to be a success with our Children’s Spring Festivals bringing in a record amount of vendors and patrons. Candlelight Vigils were held in three counties including Brooks, Jim Wells, and Kleberg Counties.
These events would not be possible without our cohosts, Child Protective Services, the Kleberg County Child Welfare Board, and the Jim Wells County Child Welfare Board, our amazing sponsors, and supporters who graciously contributed to the success of our events.
