VOLUNTEER!

Now Presenting: Brush Country CASA

Brush Country CASA’s Outreach Director, Nicole Ortegon and Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator, Mark Molina have used informational presentations to help spread the word to our local communities about the importance of CASA volunteers.

In recent weeks, the duo have presented to several audiences that include the Riviera-Kaufer faculty, the Alice and Freer city councils, as well as Freer’s Rotary Club.

The informational presentation consisted of an introduction to the Brush Country CASA and its mission to serve children in the welfare system, as well as answering questions about what exactly is the function of a CASA volunteer.

With the need for volunteers being vital, informational presentations shed light on the issues that children in the welfare system are currently facing in our service communities.
