Celebrating Service: Brush Country CASA Hosts Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Brush Country CASA was proud to host our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, an evening filled with gratitude, celebration, and community. This special event is our way of saying thank you to the dedicated volunteers who serve as voices for children in the foster care system across our region. Their selfless service, compassion, and commitment make a profound difference in the lives of the most vulnerable members of our community.

This year’s dinner was especially meaningful as we welcomed a distinguished guest speaker, Judge Jaime E. Carrillo. Judge Carrillo delivered an inspiring address that highlighted the critical role CASA volunteers play in the courtroom. He spoke passionately about how their detailed reports, consistent presence, and heartfelt advocacy help shape judicial decisions and ensure that children’s best interests remain at the center of every case. His remarks served as a powerful reminder of just how vital our volunteers are to the child welfare system.

Throughout the evening, volunteers were recognized for their years of service, with special acknowledgments for those reaching milestone anniversaries. Stories of resilience, hope, and transformation were shared, reminding everyone of the tangible impact CASA volunteers have on the lives of children and families.

From the beautifully decorated venue to the warm camaraderie, the event was a celebration of Brush Country CASA’s heart and soul, our volunteers. We are beyond grateful for every one of you. Your time, energy, and unwavering dedication do not go unnoticed, and we are honored to stand beside you in this mission.

Thank you for being champions for children. Here’s to another year of advocacy, support, and hope.
