VOLUNTEER!

Recent Adoption

CASA volunteers are appointed by the Judge to gather information regarding children in foster care. CASA volunteers have one child or one sibling group which allows them to focus on the individual needs of that particular family. They volunteer to gather information about the children they serve by talking to the everyone involved in the case including the children’s teachers, doctors, therapists, biological parents and foster parents. The goal of a CASA is to identify the child’s unmet needs and then advocate for those needs to be met in court. We give the court our recommendations regarding services and placement for the children.  They are essentially the eyes and ears making sure that our children do not fall through the cracks of the system. When our kids have more people standing in their corner we see amazing outcomes. We are so proud to have been a part of these children’s lives and to be a part of their journey to find their forever home.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HAPPY FAMILY!
