CASA Volunteers Needed

Brush Country CASA is currently seeking volunteers to advocate for children who have been displaced due to abuse and neglect. CASA volunteers are not foster parents and they do not take children home. In fact, it is against our policies to take children to your home or take them on overnight outings. Our goal at CASA is to gather information about how the child is doing in care, speak to all parties to gain a clear picture of the case, identify the child’s unmet needs and then advocate for those needs to be met in court. Brush Country CASA serves five counties including Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy and Kleberg County. While we need volunteers across our service area we have a greater need for advocates in Jim Wells, Duval and Brooks County.

For more information on becoming a CASA volunteer please visit www.brushcountrycasa.org/volunteer or submit an inquiry form and a CASA representative will contact you directly with additional information. You may also register for one of our information sessions which are held every Wednesday at 12:00 pm via Zoom.
