Color the Way for CASA 5K – Press Release

Kingsville – Brush Country CASA will be hosting their Seventh Annual Color the Way for CASA 5K, August 10th at 8 a.m. that will take place at Texas A&M University – Kingsville. The event is presented by Gulf Coast Broadband.

The race is a 5K for adults and children as well as a 1-mile race for children 12 years old and under. The event will be a unique and colorful experience that benefits Brush Country CASA’s mission to support dedicated community volunteers to advocate for children and youth within the child protective system who have experienced abuse or neglect.

The Color the Way for CASA 5K is expected to have over 100 runners this year to help continue to support Brush Country CASA’s mission. Participants can register at www.BrushCountryCASA.org from now until August 9th. Registration fee online is $35 for adults and $15 for children, on-site registration fee will be $40 for adults and $20 for children. Those who attend the event will receive a SWAG bag on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for local businesses to advertise at different levels. All 2024 sponsors will be advertised leading up to the event as well as the day of the event. Sponsors have the opportunity to place company novelties in the SWAG bag and have a prominent banner (provided by the sponsor) displayed at the event. Sponsorships are tax-deductible.
