Brush Country CASA was excited to bring families and community members together for Family Day in Premont! The afternoon was filled with fun, food, games, and opportunities for families to connect with local organizations and learn more about the resources available in their community.
Families enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the afternoon, including giant Connect 4, limbo, the color stack challenge, games, and a cake walk. There was something for everyone to enjoy, and it was great to see families spending time together, meeting new people, and making memories.
In addition to the activities, local organizations joined us to share information about their programs and services. Having community partners at the event gave families the opportunity to learn about resources that can support them and their children. Events like Family Day are a great reminder of how many organizations and individuals are working together to support families throughout our communities.
Of course, no Family Day would be complete without food, music, and plenty of fun! Families were able to enjoy a meal while visiting with one another and taking part in the activities. The afternoon provided a relaxed space for families to come together, enjoy themselves, and connect with others in the Premont community.
We are especially grateful to H-E-B for sponsoring our Family Day event and helping make this afternoon possible. We also appreciate all of the organizations, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who came out and participated. Your support allows Brush Country CASA to continue creating opportunities that bring people together and strengthen connections within our communities.
Family Day was more than just an afternoon of games and activities. It was an opportunity to build connections, share resources, and remind families that they have a community around them. We are thankful to everyone who helped make the event a success and look forward to continuing to bring events like this to the communities we serve.
