Local Organizations Spread Holiday Cheer with Toy Drives for CASA Children

In the spirit of giving this holiday season, a number of local organizations and community groups came together to host toy drives benefiting the  children served by Brush Country CASA. Their generosity helped ensure that many children in need received gifts and experienced a brighter holiday season.

Among the key contributors was Texas A&M University in Kingsville, who hosted A Holly Jolly Christmas with Grupo Vidal, a festive event that brought the community together to raise toys and holiday cheer. Other organizations that played a major role in the success of these toy drives include the TREND Department of the Women’s Club, Bealls, Hoppin’ 4-H Club, Calaveras Kingsville, Zimmerman Law Firm and Mediation Center, Barrera and Barrera Law Firm, Driscoll ISD, Jim Wells County Rotary Club, and 79th District Attorney Carlos Omar Garcia, who represents Jim Wells and Brooks counties. King Ranch and NJHS at Ricardo ISD also hosted toy drives.

Thanks to the efforts of these community-driven organizations, countless children received toys, helping to bring joy and smiles to those in need. Brush Country CASA extends its deepest appreciation to each group for their kindness and dedication in making the season special for these children.

“We are incredibly grateful to the many community members and organizations who came together to support our mission,” said Jennifer Rodriguez, Executive Director of Brush Country CASA. “These toy drives truly make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. The support from our community is invaluable, and we are thankful for the holiday spirit shown by all involved.”

Brush Country CASA continues to rely on the generosity of local businesses, community organizations, and individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of children in the foster care system. Through toy drives, events, and donations, the organization is able to provide essential support to children who need it most.
