What a great Saturday we had at the Brush Country CASA Adoption Fair! We are so thankful to everyone who came out, participated, and helped make the day such a special one.
Our Adoption Fair brought together prospective adoptive families and children who are waiting for their forever families. It gave families the chance to meet, spend time together, talk, play, laugh, and most importantly, start getting to know each other. We were also very grateful for the community partners who joined us and helped provide support and resources throughout the day.
One of the best parts of the day was seeing so many connections being made. Watching families and children spend time together and start those first conversations and interactions was really special. We know every connection is different and that relationships take time to grow, but we hope some of the connections made on Saturday continue long after the event and grow into something even more meaningful.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to BACA, CoastLife Credit Union, the Lions Club, the Rotary Club of Kingsville, Attorney Fontaine Gonzalez, and the Kleberg County Attorney’s Office, including Kira Talip-Sanchez, for being part of the event and sharing your time, knowledge, and resources with families.
We are also incredibly thankful to the volunteers who helped make the day possible. A special thank you to the volunteers from Texas A&M University–Kingsville (TAMUK) and The Heart Gallery for giving their time and helping create such a welcoming and engaging experience for everyone who attended. We also want to thank DFPS for helping coordinate and bring the children and their CASA workers to the event. We are grateful for everyone who played a part in making the day meaningful for the children and families we serve.
And, of course, we have to give a BIG thank you to Polly, Amy, Mr. Ryan, and Judge Carrillo for taking on the task of cooking up some good BBQ for all of our guests! Your hard work kept everyone well-fed and added a little extra Texas hospitality to our day. We appreciate you!
