Update from Brush Country CASA Regarding COVID-19

Brush Country CASA is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our board, staff and volunteers. As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, we will stay informed and follow the recommendations and expertise of health officials. Currently all events, trainings and meetings scheduled by Brush Country CASA in unaffected counties will continue as planned. For the safety of our board, staff and volunteers, we are requesting the immediate halt and cancellation for any meetings, events, child or placement visits located in any county reporting positive cases for COVID-19. As of the time of this email, that includes Collin, Dallas, Fort Bend, Gregg, Harris, Montgomery and Tarrant. For the most current update of counties reporting COVID-19 positive, visit https://www.dshs.state.tx.us/coronavirus/#casecounts. We recognize that this is a serious concern and are making the well-being of the program our highest priority.  We also offer our condolences to those affected.
