Brush Country CASA to host Color The Way For CASA 5K

Brush Country CASA will host its Sixth Annual Color The Way For CASA 5K on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 8 a.m. on the
Texas A&M University – Kingsville campus. The event will feature an adult and children’s 5K, as well as a kids 1-mile race. Along with a colorful, fun and unique atmosphere, the race benefits a good cause, with all net proceeds going to Brush Country CASA, an non-profit organization which recruits, trains and supports community volunteers as they support children and families who are involved in the child welfare system.

The Color The Way For CASA 5K race boasted a field of more than 160 participants in 2022 and is expected to have approximately 200 runners this year. Participants can register early at www.brushcountrycasa.org from now until Aug. 11th. The early registration fee will be $35 for adults and $15 for children, while on-site fees the day of the race will be $40 and $20, respectively. Those registering the day of the event are asked to arrive early. Those attending the event will receive a free SWAG Bag on a first come, first serve basis while
supplies last.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available at different levels. However, all sponsorships are guaranteed to be advertised on all promotional materials leading up to the race, have a opportunity to place company novelties in gift bags and have a prominent banner (provided by sponsor) displayed at the event. Sponsorships are tax deductible.
