April Events – Child Abuse Awareness & Celebrating Families
As we observe Child Abuse Prevention Month, we invite you to join us for a series of important community events. This month is dedicated to honoring and remembering children affected by abuse and neglect while also celebrating the strength and resilience of our families.
Candlelight Vigils – Honoring & Remembering
Join us for a Candlelight Vigil to show support for children and families impacted by abuse. Each vigil will feature heartfelt speeches from community leaders, child advocates, and local officials.
April 8 – Jim Wells County Courthouse at 6:00 PM
April 15 – Brooks County Courthouse at 6:00 PM
April 22 – Kleberg County Courthouse at 6:00 PM
Children’s Spring Festivals – Fun for the Whole Family!
Our Children’s Spring Festivals are a time to celebrate and support children in our community. Bring your family and enjoy a day filled with fun, free food, music, giveaways, and valuable community resources.
April 12 – Anderson Park, Alice at 11:00 AM
April 26 – Thompson Park, Kingsville at 11:00 AM
These events provide an opportunity for families to connect with local organizations and resources while enjoying a fun-filled day together.
